#General Driving License Requirements (For Most Countries)

Participants from countries or regions that signed the 1949 Geneva Convention must present:

1.A valid International Driving Permit (IDP) – booklet format, Class A to E

2.A physical or photocopy of your domestic driving license

Only the original booklet-style IDP is accepted. Printed copies, photos, or digital versions are not valid.

Countries or Regions That Do Not Issue IDP (Special Case)

If your license was issued in: Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco

→ You must present your original domestic license along with an official Japanese translation issued by an authorized body (e.g., JAF).

IDP is not accepted from these countries or regions.
